Matris Neonatal Bed

The Matris Neonatal Bed is designed with the growing sensitivity toward mother and newborn well-being, supporting the practice of rooming-in. It emphasizes physical closeness to reassure the newborn and foster emotional bonding. For safety, Matris is equipped with vertically collapsible transparent Plexiglass side rails and a centralized automatic safety braking system. The self-braking wheels are released simultaneously via an integrated push handle. The bed can be tilted into Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg positions, and both the mattress and padded side panels are fully removable for easy sanitization.

Matris is designed to easily match any bed in terms of height and structure, creating continuity between the mother’s bed and the crib. Its dimensions range from 94x57x97 cm to 94x57x107 cm, with a mattress platform height adjustable from 55 cm to 73 cm, and side rail containment of 35 cm. The Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg tilt angles are 6° and 13°, respectively.

In addition to Matris, there are two other neonatal beds: a fixed-height crib and an adjustable-height crib. Both cribs comply with the EN 50637:2017 safety standard for the European market.
